About

http://beefitquilt.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=5767&action=editFitness and playing sports has been a life long passion for me.

It wasn't until my completely physically handicap son was born that I realized it was much more than looking fit. It was more about being healthy from the inside out; not just the workout itself but making it a way of life.

So, I went back to school and got my personal training certificate.

I’ve been sewing and crafting since jr. high school. I loved making rag dolls and country items. As I got older and started my family I had to budget my money so I learned to sew clothes. I would buy one shirt and make a pattern off of it on a brown paper bag. I’d sew it for a fraction of the cost while making minor changes so each one was a little different.

I was introduced to quilting one late night while holding my screaming, colicky son Grant. His special needs were so severe and I felt helpless at times. Poof, there she was, Eleanor Burns infomercial showing her original ruler and rotary cutter. So that was my introduction to quilting and of course, I ordered a set.

Today, quilting is my passion. I love to create my own designs. I’m currently learning to longarm on my own quilts. It’s very challenging.

My goal with Bee Fit Quilt is to help people of all ages continue to do what they love to do and feel good at the same time. Remember, being healthy and fit is not about a persons size. It’s about being healthy and fit from the inside out.

I’m looking forward to sharing my 20 years of tricks and tools to help you become a new healthy you.
